Mr. Kim’s patent practice includes patent prosecution, transactional intellectual property matters, client counseling, pre-litigation counseling, design around counseling, non-infringement analysis and opinion preparation, licensing, and portfolio management.
Mr. Kim practiced before the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) as a Korean Patent Attorney since 2002. Mr. Kim has extensive experience in patent practice in Korea and has practiced with various law firms and in-house positions. In 2015, Mr. Kim founded the law firm of Jung, Kim & Partners. In 2017, Mr. Kim joined a patent boutique in Fairfax, Virginia.
Mr. Kim has also worked as a co-pilot in Korean Airline.
Mr. Kim is not a member of the DC bar, and is supervised by members of the DC bar.
