Luke Y. Choi

Mr. Choi's patent practice includes transactional intellectual property matters, all phases of patent preparation and procurement, design around counseling, non-infringement analysis and opinion preparation, licensing, and portfolio management.

Prior to joining NSIP, Mr. Choi worked as a patent prosecution attorney at a law firm in Virginia, and worked for nearly ten years in Korea as a senior engineer and inventor at Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Modacomm Co., Ltd. While in Korea. Mr. Choi, assisted in legal matters involving mobile and telecommunication technologies and prepared initial specification documents in English and Korean for registering the patent at KIPO (Korean Intellectual Property Office). At Samsung Electronics, Mr. Choi was responsible for developing various cutting-edge mobile commercial products and invented over ten inventions, all of which have been patented in the United States.
