Joseph Hrutka

Mr. Hrutka first received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he gained a love for heat transfer and materials engineering. He later received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. Before attending law school, Mr. Hrutka worked as an engineer designing and testing high-tech materials for use in extreme environments. Mr. Hrutka also became an expert in computer aided design technologies and applied these skills as an engineer. Mr. Hrutka recently completed his second bachelors of science degree by earning an electrical engineering degree while working as a patent attorney.

Mr. Hrutka has prepared and prosecuted patent applications with the USPTO, and in foreign jurisdictions. His technological expertise includes prosecuting patents in fields such as semiconductors, graphics processing units, digital and analog circuit designs, complex digital signal processing algorithms, electro-mechanical equipment, automobile systems, athletic equipment, cellular and landline telephony, broadcast and on-demand content delivery, and other high technology fields.
